Today I am going to talk to you about the secrets to getting more engagement on Facebook. A lot of people tell me that if they post a funny video or a cat video, that would get more likes and comments than when they posted something about their business. There are 2 things you need to consider here: one, is that Facebook wants you to be in the Facebook ad game. The second thing is that, people just simply want to see humor or things that make them feel good. I want to talk to you today about how you can get more engagement on Facebook. Here are highlights from today’s show:
1. Images – Visuals on Facebook get way more engagement than text posts. Start adding call to actions on your images. Even if it’s just a quote, add a call to action like click to read, know more about this, etc.
2. Get personal – share your stories because that’s how you connect with humans on a personal level. Once they have connected with you that is when you start nurturing them so that they will know, love and trust you. Share something you love outside of business. (Tweet this)
3. How often you should post? From our experience, a lot of people are in during lunch and during the sleepy crash hour in the afternoon. You would like to time your posts during those times.
4. Headlines – Your Facebook headlines are the first things that catches the attention of your followers, especially if they are browsing their news feeds at lightning speeds. You need to make sure that your headlines will catch your audience’s attention so they will stop and read and engage with your posts. (Tweet this)
Make sure you are paying attention to these factors and apply these techniques so that you grab your audience’s attention. I want to hear about how you implement these tips to your Facebook page.
