On average, 109.5 text messages are sent per day, per person. 75% of Americans admit to bringing their phones to the bathroom. People have their phones on their arms every day, so why not leverage this or maximize this opportunity and add text messaging to your strategy.
2. Get serious on your mobile online presence – all of your website content needs to be optimized for mobile. 63% of women and 73% of men will check their phones every hour. 4 out of 5 consumers use the cellphone to shop. If you are a startup, make sure your web designer designs your website to be optimized for mobile, and if you already have a website up, make sure it is mobile ready.
3. Customer research – stats say that 80% of consumers still prefer brick and mortar shopping. 40% of shoppers still research online while shopping on brick and mortar to make a purchase. 50% of Americans check out the product reviews while in-store before they check out.
